Party Fun Pack

It’s that time again—time to post Brendan’s recent answers from, “My Boy Behind the Blog” series. I didn’t think he would, but Brendan actually really likes for me to ask him these random questions. I mean, I doubt that he would want me to ask him fifty or more questions at a time, but so far he’s been good with about 15 questions or so ; ). Which makes me happy because they are so fun to ask. My comments are written in parenthesis.

1. What are you most proud about yourself?
— being awesome at football and basketball
(He’s not at all confident in himself) ; )

2. What do you like most about yourself?
(To me this question was about the same as question number one, but I found the template with most of these questions from Pinterest so I just went with it and asked anyway…and thankfully he answered differently than his above answer. Again…confidence, lol!)
— that I’m good at go-kart racing

3. Favorite website?
— Google.
(This answer caught me by surprise, I, for sure, thought that he would probably say something like or something related to sports. However, since he answered this way, I really started thinking about it and I would say that Google is my favorite website as well, I’d be lost without Google)

4. What do you think about war?
— what war?
(Again, I love the innocence of a child)

5. What is your favorite thing about Trystan?
— he’s a good friend, he likes football and basketball and racing.

6. What made you laugh today?
— Mom’s “party fun pack”
( I recently bought a box that contains a variety of fun crafts for the girls (my nieces) and for some reason Brendan and Trystan think that the name is hilarious! I guess what they mean is that, to them, the activities included inside the box are so far from being fun. I mean I can’t blame them though, they are eleven and twelve year old boys, so I don’t expect them to be interested in making jewellery and stuff like that, lol) ; )

7. What’s the last thing that made you feel sad and why?
— Trystan moving…I don’t like him not living next door anymore. And getting sick didn’t make me happy, either.

8. If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
— I would make it where bacteria wouldn’t make people sick.
(Brendan’s a slight germophobe, plus I think he was still mad that he got the stomach virus for a second time just this month. Still, I’m curious what the answer to this question will be years from now. LoL)

9. What is one thing that you do that is healthy?
— I exercise and play sports outside every chance I get. I also usually don’t drink anything with sugar in it.

10. What teacher has made the biggest impact in your life?
— Ms. Scully.
(Brendan loves Ms. Scully, she was his pre-k teacher at the school he still attends, so he still gets to see her from time to time)

11. What would be the best compliment anyone could ever give you?
— That I am the best football player.

12. Who in the United States has the coolest job?
— Meme, because she is in my family.
(Meme is his grandma and she is an internal medicine doctor)

13. What irritates you the most?
— Niki’s kids, Ansley and Jayla.
(Niki is his dad’s girlfriend and of course Ansley and Jayla are his cousins…I think it all boils down to sibling rivalry…because most of the time they all get along good)

14. If you could hang out with anyone for a day who would it be?
— probably David Reagan.
(NASCAR Sprint Cup driver from our area)

15. What qualities do you look for in a friend?
— someone who likes most of the same stuff that I like.
